Not much is more comforting and satisfying in cooler weather than a nice warm meal. Even better are meals you can make all in one pot so you don’t finish eating and have lots of dishes to be done.
We’ve pulled together some of the best IC friendly one-pot meals for you to try out this season to feed you and your family. Many can even be made ahead and frozen or portioned out for numerous servings throughout the week.
Recipes that need slight modifications to stay IC friendly have notes next to them. All recipes are assessed using the ICN Food List. As always, proceed with caution with foods and ingredients you haven’t previously tried.
Please note that many of these recipes call for black pepper for seasoning. Black pepper is in the “Foods Worth Trying” category. You can either omit it or use it with caution in any of the recipes that include it.
Numerous recipes also call for onion. You can omit the onion, or try it with caution. Cooked onion loses some of its acidity, so some ICers can tolerate cooked onion and not raw onion.
